THE STORY



Hear me Out is Solitary Saint's debut album. It was recorded in 2004/2005.

The band revolved around vocalist Victoria and songwriter/guitarist  Jan Lismonde. Their cooperation  went back to 1999 when they started to perform in the Antwerp area, often in an acoustic setting, but later accompanied by drums/bass.

In 2003 they were spotted by Clear Coast Music, a young independent recordlabel, which at the time was recruiting talent for its first major production. The band was signed and versatile British producer Gareth Jones (garethjones.com) got involved. A selection was made from a long list of available songs, and a fruitful cooperation commenced - ultimately resulting in the release of  Hear me Out late 2005.


After a succesful presentation of the album with a concert in Antwerp in November of that year, the band prepared for a promotion tour starting 2006. But in a dramatic turn of events Jan Lismonde was suddenly struck by a very serious illness early December (meningitis). All efforts to save his life failed. Three weeks after being hospitalized Jan passed away on December 20th 2005..............
